Expanding Key Ecosystem Partnerships to Rapidly Deliver Communications Solutions

SAN ANTONIO, TX., August 16, 2018  – Globalgig, orchestrating hyperconnectivity with a suite of wireless, mobility, voice and managed network solutions, hires Jason Celaya as senior vice president of strategic partner development to expand Globalgig solutions to new markets through key ecosystem partners.

Creating industry partnerships to deliver innovative solutions brings broader value and accelerates speed to deployment for customers. Globalgig’s patented mulit-IMSI SIM can be embedded, bundled, packaged with ecosystem partners’ devices and solutions to deliver local wireless data access in over 200 countries. These capabilities, combined with Orchestra, a powerful API-driven back-office platform, allows partners to control and manage their inventory in one system. Ecosystem partners will also benefit from Globalgig’s eSIM/eUICC initiative which looks to further enhance a customer’s ability to optimize global network usage and data subscriptions in real-time through Globalgig’s SIM Subscription Management platform. Having multi-country wireless connectivity on one SIM card, from a single provider, streamlines service delivery and simplifies billing and support for Globalgig partners.

Jason has over 20 years of global experience with network technology and Internet of Things (IoT) solutions. Prior to joining Globalgig, Jason served as the vice president of IoT for Rice Electronics, supporting the convergence of information and operational technology for up-stream, mid-stream and down-stream markets. Jason’s previous experience includes strategic product specialist for the oil and gas industry for Cisco Systems and director of vertical sales focused on the worldwide oil and gas market for Ceragon. Jason holds a bachelors in electrical engineering from Texas Tech University and a law degree from Thurgood Marshall School of Law with a focus on intellectual property law.

“As a global MVNO, our multi-IMSI SIM technology can deliver immediate value to our ecosystem partners, supporting faster solution implementation and rapid adoption,” said Ernest Cunningham, CEO of Globalgig. “We are pleased to have Jason on-board with Globalgig, a thought leader in how IoT technology can drive service and workflow efficiencies for our partners and clients.”
