Ernest was the Founder and CEO of One Source Networks, one of Inc. Magazine’s Top 10 Fastest Growing Companies which grew from $0 to $100 million in eight years before being acquired by GTT Communications, Inc. (NYSE: GTT) in 2015. Previously, Ernest held senior executive positions with Broadwing and Level 3 Communications with primary responsibility for National Accounts and Wholesale Market programs. Ernest also spearheads a multimillion dollar real estate holding and management company.
Chief Financial Officer
Jim brings over 25 years of experience in finance executive roles, including having led merger and acquisition activities on the buy- and sell-side, raising over $500 million. As CFO of One Source Networks, Jim oversaw the profitable growth and ultimate sale of the business to GTT at the end of 2015. Prior to this, Jim held key positions with Moxie Software (formally nGenera), OnFiber Communications and ConnectSouth Communications having started his career with Price Waterhouse Coopers.
Chief Revenue Officer (EMEA)
Mark co-founded Globalgig and has over 25 years of experience in the mobile telecommunications industry. He was key to many of Globalgig’s commercial, technological and strategic directions, and he remains responsible under the new iGEM ownership for all commercial aspects within EMEA. He previously held senior positions in the SIM industry with Sagem Orga (now Safran Morpho) and Giesecke+Devrient (G&D), including working in the UK, Middle East and India.
Chief Revenue Officer (Americas)
Joe has over 30 years of telecommunications industry experience, having previously built a $350 million business from scratch. Joe has successfully led many sales organizations to unprecedented growth during his career. Prior to Globalgig, Joe held sales leadership positions at GTT Communications, Broadwing, One Source Networks, Airband and MCI. Joe holds an MBA from Ashland University, and a Bachelor of Science in Telecommunications from Ohio University.
Chief Marketing Officer
Bringing over 25 years of marketing and telecommunications industry experience, Jennifer has held senior executive positions providing leadership in the areas of marketing strategy, communications, channel marketing, product management and public/analyst relations. Most recently, Jennifer was the executive vice president of marketing for Alpheus Communications. Prior to this, Jennifer held marketing leadership positions at Airband Communications, Sage Telecom, and GlobeRanger Corporation.
Chief Strategy Officer Mergers & Acquisitions
Anthony brings more than 20 years of experience in telecommunications and related fields where he was CEO of several technology companies focusing on service and hardware delivery. Anthony co-founded Velis4, having spent the past 10 years building the company through organic growth and acquisitions before it was acquired by Globalgig in 2016. Anthony also volunteers with several not-for-profit organizations where he also holds board positions.
Chief Channel Officer
Gregg Rowe is a 28-year veteran of the technology industry. Gregg graduated as an Electrical Engineer from the University of Illinois and added a MBA from Washington University, Olin School of Business. Gregg evolved from his engineering roots to multiple successful sales roles in the robotics, information technology, and telecom industries. From these roles he took on progressively more responsibility holding wholesale, channel, and operational leadership positions with CenturyLink and Vonage. Gregg now leads Globalgig’s Channel program.
Chief Technology Officer
Pugh co-founded Unified Scale which was acquired by Globalgig in early 2019. Pugh joined Globalgig as Chief Technology Officer, responsible for global technology, infrastructure strategy, network architecture, and product innovation. Pugh has over 25 years of experience in networking and information technology. Prior to Unified Scale, Pugh served as the Vice President of Network Engineering for One Source Networks (OSN) and leadership positions at OuterNet and Symbiot.
EVP IOT and Strategic Accounts
As co-founder of iGEM, Greg brings over 35 years of experience in telecommunications having worked most recently with GlobalGig CEO Ernest Cunningham at One Source Networks. Greg previously founded Texas Energy Network, which was the first provider of LTE service to the energy industry; it had a 50,000-square-mile network across Texas oilfields and provided service to Shell, Occidental Petroleum, and Anadarko among others. Previously, Greg was EVP at Qwest Communications, before it became CenturyLink, providing service to the likes of AT&T, Verizon, C&W and MCI Worldcom.
VP – Provisioning
With 20 plus years of telecommunications experience, Meredith brings her extensive provisioning and customer account management expertise to Globalgig. Prior to joining Globalgig, Meredith was the VP of service delivery at GTT and led service delivery and project management organizations at One Source Networks, Level 3 and Broadwing Communications. Meredith holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Development.
VP – Operations
Jeremy is a telecommunications industry veteran with network, operations and VoIP engineering experience. At Globalgig, Jeremy is responsible for both the network/voice engineering and NOC operations teams. Prior to Globalgig, Jeremy was the director of VoIP Engineering for GTT. Jeremy held leadership positions in engineering and VoIP operations for One Source Networks, sales engineering and support operations for Level 3 and Broadwing.
SVP – Vendor Management
David is a successful industry veteran who brings extensive leadership experience from previous executive positions at GTT, One Source Networks, Earthlink, Airband, Level3, Broadwing and other telecommunications companies. David will be working closely with network carriers, equipment vendors and platform partners to provide optimized solutions that deliver results for Globalgig customers.
VP of Wholesale Services
Sam has over 20 years of experience in the telecommunications industry. As vice president of wholesale services, Sam is responsible for expanding channel distribution to deliver wholesale solutions to carriers and reseller partners. Prior to joining Globalgig, Sam served as the director of sales for enterprise, channel and services providers for Digital Realty/Telx, a premier resource for interconnection and colocation. Sam’s previous experience includes leadership position at Celairo, and sales management positions at Level 3 Communications and New Edge Networks.
